Submissions may be edited. If a site is denied inclusion, the
payment will be refunded in full. No adult, gambling, or prescription drug sites
that sell or promote the sale of narcotics. No sites that attempt to
deceive search engines in any way, including use of doorway

Submission categories will be chosen by directory editor.
About the Directory
Hartwell Directory is designed to give the BEST links to the
end user - not the MOST links. It's listings are priced in order to weed
out spammy submissions, and all submissions will
be carefully critiqued prior to being approved. New categories will be
added as the directory grows. No categories will be added without
containing links to well established, authority sites in that particular
content area. The purpose of this policy is to increase the relevancy of
the categories, and not spam search engines by having pages up without
unique content. Descriptions of authority sites are hand-written
original text - not content that was "scraped" from other web pages like
so many directories now do. All new listings will be added within
a week following submission.
Hartwell Directory went online just following Google's "Jagger"
update in October of 2005. It will be promoted through natural link
building slowly from the time of it's inception - on. It will NOT become
one of the many newer directories that was devalued by search engines
after buying 10's of thousands of text link ads and linking to anyone
that paid the fifty bucks.
